Why hire a professional?
Having attended many weddings, we are experienced wedding photographers and will be at ease at your wedding. We are used to working with individuals, couples, and groups to make formal photography go smoothly.

We work quickly and efficiently. While students/amateurs may be talented photographers, an experienced wedding photographer would know where and when to stand in order to get the shot. It may be the difference between getting the bride's tear while dancing with her father, or hiding her face in a tissue a second later.

How do I hire a photographer?
If you like our website, please come and visit our studio. When looking through sample albums pay attention to your emotional response to our photography and our communication skills. Look for high technical quality too. Once you have decided on one of us whose work has meaning to you, discuss prices, deposits, packages, quantity of pictures and so on.

Why Digital?
The answer is surprisingly simple: I changed after 21 years of shooting film, because digital cameras today offer better image quality than film. Another advantage: digital files are easier to share, make prints and work on the album with us – all of it without having to handle film negatives.

The advantage during the wedding: we are always dealing with changing lighting situations. Most weddings involve both outdoor and indoor photography, with some in black and white, some in color. With digital cameras we can change all settings on the fly to adapt to changing environments.

Who will be taking the photographs?
All of the photographers have worked closely with Elke and learned from her experience. After you have looked through our different portfolios – choose the photographer whose style and budget meet your needs.

During the interview, you will meet with your photographer.

How do we book you?
Please call us and see if we are available and to arrange an initial consultation. When you have made a decision, we sign the contract. To hold the date: half of the fee is due at contract signing. The balance is due on the day of the wedding.

How much do your services cost?
Depending on your needs, our fees range from $2,400 - $18,000.

For how many hours will the photographer be shooting?
It depends on you. We recommend at least 8 hours to cover the whole day.

When do we receive the photos after the wedding?
The website will be available when you return from your honeymoon (within 10 days). A few days after that you will receive the proofs.
